Swainsboro Technical College ensures its diploma graduates are able to:

• Apply mathematical reasoning and mathematical problem solving to work-related problems.
• Compose business documents addressing work-related situations.
• Read and use written text in the interpretation of work-related situations.
• Utilize basic computer skills.

Work Keys/COMPASS measures diploma-level general education competencies. 
In order to graduate, diploma/*TCC students must score a 3 or higher on the Work Keys assessments and a minimum score of 4 on the COMPASS e-Write.

Swainsboro Technical College ensures its associate degree graduates demonstrate:

• Proficiency in mathematical problem solving and reasoning.
• Ability to think critically.
• Proficiency in the application of standard written English.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Degree students must successfully complete a General Education Competency Exam.

Successful completion of General Education Competency Exams and/or WorkKeys assessments are required for graduation.
